‘Intangible Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Communities in the Asia-Pacific Region: Report of the Research on ICH Contributing to SDGs Project (FY 2022–2024)’ published in March 2025
IRCI published ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Communities in the Asia-Pacific Region: Report of the Research on ICH Contributing to SDGs Project (FY 2022–2024)’ in March 2025.
From FY 2022 to 2024, the project explored how ICH could contribute to SDG target 11.4 with the title of ‘Research on ICH Contributing to SDGs: Intangible Cultural Heritage for Sustainable Cities and Communities’. This report includes the project summary and the reports of case studies conducted as part of the project in cooperation with the partner organizations in Cambodia, Malaysia, and the Marshall Islands, as well as other cases from various countries in the Asia-Pacific region that were shared in two symposia held in the course of the project in 2023 and 2024.
