The report of IRCI’s three-year research project ‘Sustainable Research Data Collection for ICH Safeguarding in the Asia-Pacific Region’ (FY 2019–2021) is now available online.

IRCI has been collecting research information on intangible cultural heritage (ICH) in the Asia-Pacific region since FY 2013, and has made the collected information accessible through the IRCI Research Database. This project report summarises the data collection activities carried out, during FY 2019 and FY 2021, in Asia, mostly in Southeast Asia. In addition to the activity summary and the analysis of information collected in these three years, it presents summary reports by research institutions in three countries of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Viet Nam that have collaborated on the project for three years to complete data collection.
