Open call for cases on ICH Safeguarding for Sustainable Development from the Asia-Pacific Region
The International Training Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (CRIHAP) is inviting interested institutions and individuals to submit cases of programmes, activities, projects, and other practices carried out by them in their effort to promote sustainable development through ICH safeguarding. The case collection will be framed around the theme of ICH Promoting Sustainable Development, with sub-themes including but not limited to ICH&education, ICH&climate change, ICH&livelihood or employment, ICH&gender, ICH&youth and ICH&environmental protection. IRCI is supporting this call with the expectation that it will provide valuable resources for investigating issues relating to ICH and sustainable development.
The deadline for submitting cases is 31 August 2024.
