A research team from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies visited IRCI on 26 November 2025
On 26 November 2025, a research team from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), Republic of Korea, visited IRCI to conduct an in-person interview as part of a research project implemented with our Korean counterpart, the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (ICHCAP).
Their research aims to identify best practices and strategies to strengthen partnerships between Category 2 Centres in the field of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) and enhance international networks for safeguarding ICH.
We are very grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful project, while reflecting on our own mandate as a research centre. IRCI will continue its efforts to deepen cooperative relationships with other Category 2 Centres and organizations in the field of ICH across the Asia-Pacific region.
