SDGs (Education) and ICH Project – Guidelines (Subanen) Published
IRCI, in cooperation with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) had conducted the project that aims to contribute SDG4 (Quality education) by incorporating intangible cultural heritage (ICH) into non-formal education from FY 2018 to FY 2019.
In this project, the English version of the guidelines for educational materials was developed by utilising ICH in FY 2018 (the first edition) and was revised after being verified in non-formal schools in FY 2019 (the second edition).
This time, the second edition was translated into Subanen, spoken by indigenous Subanen people, aiming at being used more widely by local people.
