A Symposium on Cultural Heritage Held at the Tokyo National Museum

Sakai-city and the National Institutes for Cultural Heritage hosted the Tokyo Symposium on Cultural Heritage at the Tokyo National Museum on 21st July, 2019.

In commemoration that the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group was inscribed on the World Heritage List, presentations and discussion featuring mounded tombs of ancient Japan drew attention from attendees.

At the beginning of the symposium, Mr Iwamoto, Director-General of IRCI representing the National Institutes for Cultural Heritage gave a welcome remarks as one of the hosts. IRCI disseminates information and raises awareness of ICH by its publications and panel presentations of research activities.
