New Director-General of IRCI

Mr. Wataru Iwamoto has been appointed as Director-General of IRCI, with the effect from 1 April 2016 to take over Mr. Akio Arata. IRCI is going to make further progresses on the implementation of its research projects under the new leadership of Mr. Iwamoto, who possesses rich experiences at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan and the UNESCO Headquarters.
