IRCI participated in the seventeenth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (17.COM), which was held from 28 November to 3 December 2022 in Rabat, Morocco.

Also, as a side event, IRCI set up a booth at the venue to promote its research activities and increase its visibility by distributing the latest IRCI brochure and leaflet, and disseminating the information on recent publications, including project reports and proceedings. IRCI also distributed a flyer of the new online seminar series to be launched within “Asia-Pacific Research Forum for ICH Safeguarding” platform.

The booth was well visited by many participants. IRCI received positive comments on its projects, questions about research projects and publications, and even possibilities for potential cooperation in the future. This event was a great opportunity for IRCI to broaden its network with researchers and institutions in the ICH field worldwide.
