| Description | This epic is a vivid example of an ancient heroic epic. The main characteristic of the epic is that it is heroic in nature. Because this feature determines the entire essence and main direction of the epic. According to V.G. Belinsky, "in the infancy of a nation, its life is expressed more in courage and heroism." That is why the ancient epic of heroism "only in the infancy of a people... its strength and pure activity can only manifest itself at a time when it is visible in heroic victories." The epic "Alpomysh", which glorified the issues of society and human life in his own reality - within the framework of folk ideals of heroism and beauty, was created at a time when nomadic life and patriarchal-dominant relations were preserved to some extent there is a poetic mirror of the "scene". The epic is very common among a number of Turkic and some non-Turkic peoples who lived next to them. Its Uzbek, Karakalpak, Kazakh, Altai variants are epics. Folklore masterpieces are like springs.
