Description
In this monograph, the study of the genetic resources of the cultural forms of orientalist L.Elaeagnus, a valuable medicinal plant for forestry and national economy, created by folk selection in Uzbekistan, as well as the selection, breeding and collection of promising forms the results of the conducted scientific researches are reflected. At first, in 2008-2010, the author S.A. carried out scientific research. It was carried out within the framework of the scientific-practical project "Selection of fruitful and large-fruited forms of breadfruit and development of vegetative propagation methods" initiated during Turdiev's master's period, in 2009-2011, as "Senior Researcher-in-Residence" during 2011-2013 06.03.01-Forest crops, selection of seeds and greening of cities, agro-forestry improvement and construction of plantations, "Oriental elm (Elaeagnus orieantalis) Biodiversity and its vegetative reproduction" and KXI-5-050-2015 "Establishing a mother plantation based on the promising forms of the Eastern carp" were carried out within the framework of innovative projects. In the monograph, the history, biology, geographical distribution, relationship with external environmental factors, vegetative and seed propagation methods, seedling cultivation, biochemistry, cultivation in plantations of the fruit plant, which is a valuable medicinal plant for forestry and national economy, has a positive effect on land reclamation, and has a positive effect on land reclamation in the CIS countries. Information about its pests and diseases is given. The monograph is intended for specialists in forestry, horticulture and cultivation of medicinal plants, farmers, students, graduate students and general readers.
