The system of genres of Uzbek folklore is very diverse, and the folklore of seasonal ceremonies, which is connected with the traditional folk calendar, plays an important role in this chain of spiritual values, whose historical foundations go back to the discoveries of the artistic thinking of Uzbek ancient ancestors. Due to the highly developed farming culture and animal husbandry traditions in Uzbekistan, several different methods of the folk calendar have appeared. On this basis, the people are related to the seasons, "Qor xat", "Sherda", "Boychechak xabari", "Qozon to’ldi", "Navro’z", "Shoxmoylar", "Lola Sayili", "Oblo Baraka", "Sust Xotin". , "Suzxotin", "Chaylaa Qozoq", "Choymomo", "Yalli momo", "Yo Xaydar" have formed folklore of seasonal ceremonies. In this study guide, the genesis of the folk calendar, the special features of the dekhmon and cattle accounts, the composition of the genres of the folklore of Uzbek seasonal ceremonies are covered in detail. The study guide is intended for students of philological faculties of higher educational institutions, as well as graduate and post-graduate students conducting scientific research on the issues of folklore and ethnology.
