Every nation has traditions and rituals, customs and holidays that show its national identity. Such traditions, which have been created for centuries and polished thanks to the deep creative ability of the intelligent people, determine the identity, mentality, and national image of the nation. Because, a few thousand years ago, wonderful pictures and lines are stamped on the sacred rocks of Zarautkamar and Sarmishsay, like "Alpomish" and "Goro'gli" in all the remote corners of the Uzbeks' endless homeland. Uzbekistan's intelligent ancestors who sang great epics created rich cultural heritage that is worth comparing to the pearls of artistic thinking. Thanks to its extremely high creative potential, the Uzbek nation, which has made a great contribution to the treasury of world cultural masterpieces, is progressing and developing, taking strength from the incomparable spiritual power of the system of its national traditions. Navruz is a time when nature is renewed, nature awakens, and a new season of work begins for the shepherds who plant the seeds of blessing in the fields with good intentions and the experienced herders who spread their sheep on the pastures. Let's say it is like a strange wind of renewal blowing in the dreamland of the dreams and in the hearts of each of our compatriots. Navruz is a celebration of worldly cleansing, spiritual purification and the immortality of life, which is close to the Uzbeks' hearts and a wonderful season that connects the life-giving streams flowing in the Uzbeks' bodies. This ancient holiday, which is a symbol of goodness, unites the whole country and encourages people to be creative. In this book, there are ancient songs, sumak cooking, halychank flying performed in the traditions, customs, and events of the Uzbeks related to Nowruz holiday. "Boychechak xabari", "Lola sayli", "Qizil gul sayli" are folk tales of spring, as well as sayings about seasonal birds that fly to Uzbekistan early in the morning. Folk songs are collected in connection with the ceremonies of the first sowing of seeds and sowing of grain in the field, the raining in dry years and the ceremonies to stop the drought. These materials serve to further improve and enrich the programs dedicated to Navruz holiday and New Year's holiday of folklore-ethnographic communities, which are creating for the noble goal of restoring rare examples of folk art.
