| Description | In this article, the history and schools of calligraphy in eastern countries, their mature manifestations, the areas where examples of calligraphy art are used, the main styles of Arabic writing, their use, the history of the development of the art of calligraphy in Central Asia, and the revival of the art of calligraphy are presented. Uzbek calligraphers contributing to the development of the art of calligraphy in the present period are discussed. In addition, information is provided about the meaning of the word "calligraphy", how it is pronounced in the East and West, and the types of crafts used in calligraphy. The calligraphy activities of Uzbek calligraphers Habibullah Salih and Salimjon Badalbaev are widely covered. |
