Description
Mongolian National University of Education was established in 1951 as the State Teachers' Institute, and in 1957 it was expanded into Mongolian National University of Education in 2004.
Currently, it is one of the state-owned and leading universities operating 7 branches of State Teacher's University, 2 regional schools, and a general education school.
The Department of History of the School of Social and Humanities carries out some activities related to research, promotion, and preservation of intangible cultural heritage in some fields of ethnography.
The department publishes an academic journal called "Acta Historica". The first issues of this journal were published under the name of "Academic Papers of the Social Science Branch", and the 3rd issue was published independently every year, and a total of 24 issues have been published.
