| Description | In this article, the author discusses the famous epic-tellers of Altai Uriankhai and its transmission of epic, which is listed in the Mongolian National List of ICH in need of urgent safeguarding. Jilker is the ICH barrier, Epic teller, which was first performed to document by Russian researchers. His lineage epic-tellers were Sh.Buyan, J.Orolmaa, B.Urtnasan, B.Avirmed, B.Damdindorj, A.Dorjpalma, A.Baldandorj, and D.Chintogtokh. His daughter, A. Dorjpalma, was the only female epic-teller of the Uriankhai ethnic group in the Altai region. |
