Song is one of the special folklore genres and has been popular among Tajik people since ancient times. It is the source of all the joyful rituals of the people. In the article, the author presented several issues in the recognition and research of Tajik folklore songs. First—the issue of the term of the song. The second is the matter of collecting the lyrics of the songs. The third is the issue of recording and publishing songs. The fourth is the question of researching the song and its genre. Fifth—the issue of the current status of folk songs among people and their performance by professional singers. The sixth is the issue of spreading among the people those songs based on the texts of classical and modern poets. Observations of recent years show that new songs are spreading among people through technical means. It would be good if the investigation of this new phenomenon by folklorists is not neglected. Thus, it should be said that there are many issues with researching Tajik oral songs. Through this brief article, we wanted to inform the researchers to pay attention to the above-mentioned issues of one of the most famous folklore genres, i.e., song. |
