In this article, the author provides information about the life and activities of several of the founders of painting and calligraphy art in Badakhshan and presents their works for researchers. In Badakhshan, Tajikistan, there was art of painting and calligraphy in the past centuries, and skilled artists showed their skills in this field of art and left precious works as a memorial. The author discusses the historical development of calligraphy in Badakhshan. The author analyzes the philosophical and religious meanings of the symbols used by these calligraphers in their works also, there is shown the relationship of the symbols used by one calligrapher during the census of manuscripts. |
