| Description | It is well known that some genres of oral literature are related to the social and spiritual life of people. From this point of view, they occupy an important place in the everyday life of the people. One of these types of folk art, which is an unshakable part of people’s lives, is folk drama. In the article about this type of folklore, which takes place in the mourning rite, some opinions are expressed, and it is shown that this type of folklore was created and formed on the basis of mythical thoughts and imaginations and reflects the essence of many customs and rituals, beliefs, as well as elements of traditional folk rituals. As for ritual, it is an indicator of the history of each people. Although it takes different forms depending on the development and transformation of people's lives, it remains as a fragment of the past and over time finds a place in folklore genres. This folk art is practiced and well known in the Badakhshan region of Tajikistan. |
