The traditional culture of Tajiks has many types of oral creativity, experimental rituals, celebrations, and traditional knowledge and experiences, each of which has a separate position and special importance in people's lives. Sports and traditional children's games are also a part of the intangible culture of the Tajik people, which originates from ancient times and has always been a part of the cultural life of the Tajik people. It is impossible to imagine the lives of children and teenagers and all other classes of young people without active and fun games. In today's conditions, when new information tools cover the whole world and their use is harmful to the health of children and teenagers, the importance of traditional games has increased. The ninth volume of the "Dictionary of Tajik People's Culture" is dedicated to traditional children's games and traditional sports. It contains explanations and descriptions of the historical and traditional games of Tajiks of Central Asia and some new games that have influenced Tajik culture from neighboring countries. |
