This report is in Bislama and is based on the male fieldworkers' workshop on ranking-taking ceremonies in Vanuatu. Male fieldworkers of the Vanuatu Cultural Centre explain different traditional ways in which one can gain status within their respective communities based on their custom and traditions. They also provide the names of the different ranks within their cultural boundaries and explain what each rank means or entails.
